The Bazowie Awards (including the VIP open bar) is 21+.
Bring your ID. You must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at registration and at the awards. If you cannot prove your age, local regulations mean we are not allowed to let you in.
Face coverings: Masks, facial prosthetic makeup, and full-face helmets are completely allowed. Because the Hampton Inn Tropicana is not a casino hotel, they are much more accommodating for costumes!
Cosplay is NOT Consent. Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited. You must always ask for permission before taking photos of or touching another attendee or their costume.
No nudity: While we love creative cosplay and all things sexy, please dress street legal.
Outside the Events Center: If your cosplay is on the spicier side, please wear a coat, cloak, or wrap when moving through common hotel areas or outside. We know it's warm in Vegas, so a light kimono or sarong works perfectly and doubles as a great costume accessory.
Some tickets come with BazowieBucks. These are not legal tender anywhere but in the BazowieCon exhibitor and artist alley hall. You can use these at booths for items which cost the face value or greater than the dollar amount on the BazowieBuck.
Vendors do not make change for BazowieBucks, so please be sure to find something equal or greater in price. Vendors are rebated by the convention for your purchase discount.
Prop weapons are welcome, but all props must be peace-bonded.
Please do not bring live steel, functioning projectiles, or highly realistic firearms.
Vendors may not misrepresent their work or products. Vendors may sell AI-generated artwork, but honesty is our strict policy. Vendors may not falsely present AI-generated works as being hand-drawn or hand-painted.
Please don't lie about other stuff either, because it is bad karma.
Tickets and booths are not refundable but are transferrable.
Signings and photo ops are available both Friday and Saturday.
Panels take place on both Friday and Saturday.
The venue does not permit outside food or beverages in the Events Center. Snacks and bar food are available for purchase in the hotel lobby, but please enjoy them there as the venue's policy applies to all food, even items bought in the hotel.
Yes! Just scan the QR code posted inside the event to exit the parking area at no cost.
BazowieCon is taking over the entire Events Center at the Hampton Inn Tropicana at 4975 Dean Martin Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Please be sure to put in this address or the full name of the hotel including Tropicana into your GPS, as there is more than one Hampton Inn in Las Vegas.
Look for anyone wearing an Event Staff laminate and they will be able to cheerfully assist.
